Queer Money Live Tour stops with Capital One

Whew, May was a crazy month! We kicked off the first-ever Queer Money Live Tour. This is the first money tour of its kind focused solely on getting the LGBTQ community talking about money.

The tour has been a huge success, so far.

In fact, a guest from our stop at Destination Tomorrow in the Bronx said he’s already seeing his credit score improving because he’s followed the recommendations we shared during our question and answer period. That’s amazing because improving their credit scores is one of the top three reasons people reach out to us.

But it’s only getting better!

We’re excited to be taking the Queer Money Live Tour to more cities all with the help of Capital One. We’ve partnered with Capital One before, once in particular to promote their Money Coaching program to get couples more comfortable talking about money. Money Coaching is a free, confidential program. Side-by-side with a Certified Coach, you create a personalized action plan, so you can better connect your life and money goals. It is open to everyone, even if you are not a customer.

See a pattern?

So, when we told them, Capital One said, “Let us help you get the Queer Money Live Tour to Washington DC and New York City.”

When opportunity meets preparation, you take it. Right?

This is a big

Why is Capital One sponsoring two stops on the Queer Money Live Tour a big deal?

Because the tour is getting our community talking about money, something we desperately need to do. Yes, everyone stares at each other for a bit when we ask the audience our first question. But once the conversations start, they’re hard to stop – and that’s good.

People who talk about money, do better with money.

So, Capital One hosting us at their Café in Washington DC Chinatown and their flagship branch location in New York City Union Square is a big deal because it’ll let us connect with way more people – hopefully, you – in two major metropolitan cities and get more of the queer community talking about money.
