I was running the other day, and was just about finished – in that space where I felt like I couldn’t run anymore but knew the end was literally around the corner – and a quote I heard on the Stacking Benjamins podcast struck me. I almost stopped but didn’t because I didn’t want to cheat myself.

Joe was interviewing Hal Elrod, author of The Miracle Morning, and Hal shared the quote above of Jim Rohn’s. I thought, “It is true that the only way to success is through personal development!”

This isn’t rocket science. I knew that. I just never thought about it; it just finally made sense to me. I thought this was so simple yet profound, as we often look externally to fix ourselves and our current results.

The power to change our lives for the better is inside of us, every single one of us. The key to doing so, according to Jim Rohn and Hal Elrod, is to make ourselves better otherwise we’ll maintain the status quo.

    Dealing with financial problem just like dealing with any other matter, it will not change until you change yourself. The outside is just distraction.
    Financial situation wouldn’t change until you change your spending and increase your cash flow.
