Monday Money Minute: Gratitude

This week’s Monday Money Minute is about gratitude. At the end of last week, I was in a miserable mood. I was too focused on what wasn’t working in my life and less focused on what was working in my life. Midway through Friday, I started thinking about all the good that was, actually, happening in my life and I started feeling that gratitude. Maybe I was excited about the weekend!

Anyway, it got me to thinking about when John and I were living in a basement apartment and working real hard to pay off our $51,000 worth of credit card debt. Despite all the challenges we had and despite how hard we were working, we still had a strong sense of gratitude.

Take a moment to let us know what you have gratitude about in your life. Comment below and let us know that for which you’re grateful. We’d love to hear from you.
The Monday Money Minute is the Debt Free Guys’ way of inspiring you on the toughest day of the week to stay true to your personal finance and life goals. Please let us know your thoughts, questions and comments. We would love to hear from you. And, who knows? Maybe you will be the inspiration for the next Monday Money Minute.

  • We are thankful for having so much. We’re so fortunate we have everything we need and then some, enough to even help others! 🙂

That’s great to hear. Focusing on abundance just seems to bring more abundance, doesn’t it? Thanks for reading and commenting.

First and foremost, I am grateful for my family. Regardless of what is going on in my professional life or what obstacles await me, I know they will be there with unyielding support. I am also grateful for the fact that I have the means and ability to improve my mental, spiritual, physical and fiscal fitness on a daily basis.

So true. The people, not the things, in our lives are the most important. Growing mentally, spiritually, physically and fiscally are all extra perks. It sounds like you’ve got a great foundation. Keep growing and thanks for reading and commenting.
