9 ways to make 2019 the best year ever

1. Do a Dinero Detox

It’s dry January. It’s detox January. It’s time to clean our systems.

Choose time between a weekend and a month to spend no discretionary money. Pay your bills, feed yourself and your family and donate to your charity. Don’t spend money on discretionary expenses like dining out, entertainment or other things you don’t really need.

2. Crunch your numbers with the Magic Money Calculator

4. Fix your credit score with the Credit Repair Checklist

6. Get our menu & grocery list templates

For most people, the quickest way to save the most money is to gain control of your grocery and dining out spending. To do that, grab our free menu and grocery list templates in the Budget Buster Bundle. These are the same tools we used to save $30,000 a year in grocery spending.

7. Download AnyList

8. Make a Fabulous Social Life Calendar

When we were finally independent and as out and proud as we could be, our gay social life was as full as the time-space continuum allowed. With dinners, happy-many-hours, dancing and traveling, we were out every day of the week, except Mondays. Mondays were for recovery – even 20-something dancing queens need to rest their wings.

Living fabulously for gay men means having a fabulously gay social life, but a fabulously gay social life can mean a fantastically small bank account.

9. Entertainment Book

Get discounts and freebies to live a big social life on a small budget with the Entertainment Book. Don’t pay full price for anything you do, and you’ll save a ton of money over the next year.
