The 5 Ws of Queer Money
Queer Money, the only show talking about gay finance, is a weekly Blab.IM hosted by David Auten and John Schneider of the Debt Free Guys. Queer Money starts Tuesday, February 23rd at 7PM MST and will continue for the following 10 consecutive weeks.
Log into Blab.IM via your Twitter account and join the conversation every Tuesday, because it’s time we talk about the financial nuances of gay men. If you miss the live conversations, edited videos can be found at www.DebtFreeGuys.com, Blab.IM and the Debt Free Guys’ YouTube channel.
Why Queer Money?
The LGBT community has fought hard for equality and freedom, but freedom is more than Pride parades and civil rights marches. Equality and freedom require personal responsibility. As a minority group, we must also take control of our money.
Queer Money will help our community achieve financial freedom. Our guests will share their professional and personal stories to give our audience the know-how to live their best lives, find the right partner, have career successes and achieve financial peace of mind and security.

Why the Debt Free Guys?
Despite having had thirteen years of combined experience in financial services, we were two thirty-something professionals with $51,000 of combined credit card debt, living in a basement apartment and not living the life of our dreams.
Ten year later, as life partners, we’re now debt free. As business partners, we are The Debt Free Guys. We now combine our personal and professional experiences with money to help others live debt free, have fun and be money conscious.
In addition to our blog, our work has been included in Business Insider, ABC News, OutFront Colorado,Yahoo!Finance, MSN Money, Rage Monthly, Edge Media Network, Time and many more. We’ve been featured in Christian Science Monitor, Philadelphia Inquirer and by Credit Karma.
We’ve published three eBooks in the #MoneyConscious Series and a fourth, hard copy book 4: The Four Principles of a Debt Free Life. We’ve also spoken at The Road to Financial Wellness in Denver and FinCon15 in Charlotte NC.
