Last night after a long day at work and dealing with flat tires and the second night in a row of working on a dead battery, I was feeling a bit rough around the edges. You know, you’ve had those days or weeks when not a whole lot is motivating you. I was in that state.
I was feeling a bit sorry for myself and could have easily gone down the rabbit hole of negativity, but then something turned me around. I logged onto Twitter and saw a notification from our great friend, Amy Robles of Think Enriched. There was a post with our name on it, “Why You Should Know The Debt Free Guys.”
I wasn’t quite sure what this was. She had asked for picture of us the previous night, but I just figured she was adding it to the page of her Think Enriched Podcast on which we were guests. So, I clicked through to the post.
I was totally blown away by not only an awesome review of who we are as bloggers, but also reviews of two of our #MoneyConscious Series books! Amy you turned my day around! You are an example of why I love the Personal Finance Community. We are all out there to help our readers get out of debt, build financial freedom and have fun amazing lives, but also to support each other. There are seven billion people in this world and if, as bloggers, we decided that we need to be stingy or possessive of our audiences, then we have lost the point of sharing that we learned as kids. There are plenty of readers and listeners to go around.
We have an awesome community. I love it and it’s people like Amy who help make us all better! Thank you Amy you are amazing. We now dub her “Awesome Amy.”
If you are not already following Amy, we encourage you to do so.
